I read some reviews using Google Maps function. They said things like "been here for 10 years.....it doesn't look great inside....but the food is great." I agree! Went yesterday. Their take out menu actually said they'd been open for 14! It is SUPER BLAH looking inside. But for a place named "Speedy" it's obvious you go for take-out or delivery, not dining in. Their egg drop soup is YUMMY. I usually judge chinese places by their egg drop since I love them. It does taste a little overly salty but a nice extra hint of peppery-ness. My fiance got the hot and sour soup. I usually don't like it but theirs was AWESOME, so spicy and flavorful. The entrees were a yum too. My ultimate review is that it is super yummy but I will forewarn: it does taste pretty greasy, salty, and unhealthy, but so far not a colon cleanser type of food for my body yet, haha. On their menu it says "MSG free, Low Calorie" but I doubt it. Definitely a treat for every once in awhile.

I LOVE Speedywok! It's a little Chinese diner beside Crest. When passing by it would be very unassuming, but don't let anything about this fool you! I don't use these words often, but....... It's the BEST Chinese take out in the entire Metro! The food is always steaming hot, freshly prepared, authentic, and extremely flavorful. They also have a booming delivery service for locals. They have multiple options for portion sizes. I've seen this place sitting here for 20 years and finally gave it a try. Oops, that was my mistake. The food was starchy, overcooked and greasy; I'm sure I won't be back. I can find better elsewhere. Mel

Clean great service and always fresh!! Egg rolls are excellent and so is the egg drop soup!! The orange chicken is wonderful and so is the garlic chicken. You have to try this place if you like Chinese!!!

I actually go here when I have a taste for Chinese food. The prices are good for the portion that you choose. The staff is quite friendly as well. Definitely recommend this location.

I've been coming here for years. I'm pretty picky with my Chinese food and trust me, there are only a handful of restaurants I'd go to. Every place with their own specialty. If you've never been here before, they make the best crab rangoon, hot & sour soup, and combination fried rice. My personal favorite is the orange beef with white rice. They also deliver... unfortunately for me, not to my location, but I'll drive just about anywhere for good food. Very family oriented restaurant. You'll get hooked the first time.

Good Chinese food, usually pretty quick and pretty good prices. Very close to my house and the grocery store I frequent, so we pick up food here a lot. Not much to say about it except that it's good!

Tried this little place out tonight and definitely wasn't disappointed. All of the food came out quick and was hot! There were three of us and we all left full. The crab Rangoon is awesome!! We ordered the Hunan Combination, Salt and Pepper Shrimp (which I'll admit I was a little scared of at first because they have the legs...BUT I conquered my fears and tried it) SO GOOD! Also ordered the broccoli in garlic sauce..really good. And the Orange beef! They deliver, but unfortunately I live outside the delivery area. I'm sure ill go back soon! :)

Never been disappointed with the food! I normally don't like food from the restaurants like this but they are really good. I for one like the dumplings but everything I have had here was really good.

First time at Speedy Wok. Was looking for a place with good fried rice, found it. Got sweet & sour chicken with rice. Will get again.

Ordered the pepper steak and it's fine, what you would expect from take out. The fried rice is really good BUT ordered chicken chow mein and the chicken has a fish/shrimp taste to it! We've ordered from here a few times and I've never had chicken that tastes like this...maybe a bad batch. So is it worth it to drive back and have them make me something else? For $6.95 I say, "No." and just throw it out...hopefully avoiding some sort of gastrointestinal episode! I'll order again, but never chicken.

I have gone to this place here and there for over 10 years now and the portions and flavor is always consistent. I've only had a few dishes but they are always good. Id imagine most if not all of there dishes are good.

We had been looking for a Chinese food place that wasn't a chain or bland/cheap. We found this on yelp and was relatively close to our house. When we got there the place was very clean and very stylish. The waitstaff is extremely nice and helpful with what is are the popular dishes ordered and what their favorite dishes are. Everything is cooked to order and you can get most dishes cooked your way. The fried rice is awesome!!!

Speedy Wok is our favorite Asian Food restaurant. We have eaten there for several years. We usually have food delivered which generally within 30 to 45 minutes. We live about 3 miles from restaurant. We usually have Szechuan or more traditional dishes. The appetizers are great! Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, and pot stickers are very good My favorite hot and sour soup, bar none!, is here. We eat at restaurants around 23 and Classen like Grand House, Lido, Golden Phoenix and this food is every bit as good.. Consistently! I recommend this restaurant without reservation.
